Neumont University is educating the most sought-after software developers. Founded in 2003, Neumont University offers accelerated 24-month Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) degrees and Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) degrees in one and two-year formats. Neumont University is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). As part of the admissions process, we evaluate the whole student and their potential to succeed in our rigorous program.
Applicants are evaluated on a variety of factors including: GPA, SAT or ACT scores, essays, community service, extracurricular activities, work experience, academic potential, technical knowledge and level of motivation.

Transfer Students
Neumont University may award transfer credits for courses that meet our evaluation criteria from any institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Courses taken at a foreign institution will be accepted for transfer on the basis of the report of a credential evaluation service.
For courses to be considered for transfer credit, a student must submit official transcripts and course descriptions from the time period when the courses were taken.
Credit will be accepted only for courses in which a grade of "C" or higher was earned. The number of credits awarded for a course will not exceed the number of credits offered for the related Neumont University course.

Neumont also offers an extensive Career Services Center for all students. The Neumont University Career Services assists students in networking, preparing for, and finding careers when they graduate from the university.
Each quarter, Neumont University hosts a Career Fair where students and employers are come together to network, explore career opportunities, and interview. Prior to the fair, students are offered Resume and Interview Skills Workshops and may request interviews with specific employers coming to the fair. Additionally, employers are given a book of student resumes and can request interviews with specific students who have the skills they are seeking.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
The Neumont University Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) distinguishes itself with an integrated, project-based curriculum that focuses on the skills most valued by today's employers. Graduates of this innovative program are motivated software developers who are well-equipped for success in the corporate world. BSCS projects and coursework (including general education requirements) are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in relevant technical skills and standards, a unique understanding of the business environment, and the ability to work and communicate in a software development team.
Project Courses
Neumont believes the key to a useful and applicable degree in CS is team-based, hands-on experience with real software projects. In support of this, students spend the majority of their time working in teams on pertinent, real-world software development projects.
Upon completing the instructional and project hours, the Neumont University graduate has a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a portfolio of project work.
Master of Science in Computer Science
This program was developed utilizing the strengths of Neumont’s renowned Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program and prepares graduates for leadership roles in organizations seeking to utilize leading-edge technologies that lie on the boundary of research and commercial application. The MCSC curriculum emphasizes information modeling, model-driven development and business rules through Advanced Computing Seminars, Lectures, Labs, and Research Projects.
Advanced Computing Seminars
Students develop the analytical and communication skills needed to understand advanced topics in computing and effectively communicate those concepts through papers and presentations.
Lectures and Labs
Students explore cutting-edge computing applications with one major theme, the successful application of technology in a business environment.
Research Projects
Students research, review and analyze the current state-of-the-art and develop proposals that extend the relevant body of knowledge.

The Neumont campus is a 48,000 square foot marble, glass and steel facility inside a high-end commercial and corporate park, nestled against the west bank of the Jordan River Parkway. The Neumont University Campus is located at 10701 South River Front Parkway in South Jordan, Utah.
Campus Facilities & Equipment
The campus features standard lecture rooms, project rooms, cafeteria, bookstore, student commons and enterprise-level wireless internet connections. Each student is issued a high-end laptop, when they start the program, to use throughout their education at Neumont.
Off-Campus Opportunities
Located south of Salt Lake City, Neumont University is minutes away from a major metropolitan area, world-class skiing and snowboarding, and miles of open trails. Student housing options are within walking distance of dozens of shops and restaurants and are serviced by the Utah Transit Authority bus lines and Neumont-run shuttles. This makes getting to and from campus very simple.
Students live in fully furnished apartments with a complete package of amenities including wireless internet, a washer and dryer, tennis courts, pools, and weight rooms. Students room with like-minded peers, who are driven by a desire to learn in a stimulating technology-driven environment.

Neumont University participates in the Federal Student Financial Aid programs (Title IV Funding). Students interested in attending Neumont University will have the opportunity to complete a Free Application for Federal Financial Aid as well as an in-house Neumont University Financial Aid application in order to determine Title IV eligibility. Although Title IV eligibility will not cover all expenses incurred from program costs, it will aid in covering some of those costs.
By completing and submitting the Federal application to the Financial Aid Office, Neumont University is able to provide all incoming students with the best financial aid package possible including Pell Grant and Title IV loans. The Department of Education requires that students complete this form as well as additional documentation in order to determine eligibility.
