Coahoma Community College ensures that students have access to academic, technical, and career development programs in the Bolivar, Coahoma, Tallahatchie, Tunica, and Quitman counties of northwestern Mississippi. To best serve the needs of these students, CCC partners directly with individuals and businesses seeking to develop education programs for themselves or their employees. The result prioritizes both leadership growth and community involvement.
CCC's academic and technical programs are divided across four divisions: Academics, Career and Technical, Health Sciences, and Workforce Development. Academic Affairs offers 61 areas of study in the university-parallel general education program, including math, science, information systems, art, English, and foreign languages, all of which are designed to help students transfer with an associate of art or associate of applied science degree. Coahoma's Career and Technical Education program provides pathways to careers in business, manufacturing, architecture, and transportation. And future health practitioners can pursue an associate degree in nursing or elect short-term certificate programs to become an EMT, phlebotomist, or nursing assistant.
