Career Experience
I have tutored for undergraduate and high school biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, and more for three years. Outside of tutoring I have worked in various molecular biology and genetic laboratories researching all kinds of genetic and phenotypic traits in plants.
I Love Tutoring Because
it allows me to witness and facilitate meaningful moments in education, such as when a student progresses from confusion about a certain subject to clarity and confidence. I enjoy guiding students through challenging concepts in chemistry and biology, breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, and watching their analytical skills develop in real time. Beyond simply helping students master difficult material, I find fulfillment in cultivating their appreciation for these scientific disciplines, helping them discover the connections within chemical processes and biological systems. My favorite part of tutoring is witnessing those "light bulb moments" when the student’s understanding suddenly clicks into place. This makes tutoring both professionally rewarding and genuinely meaningful work that reinforces my commitment to education and student success
