Career Experience

I'm a neuroscientist turned science writer who has been teaching students in English/writing and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) at the K-12, undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels for over 20 years. I have taught all kinds of subjects, both in the classroom and at the lab bench. One of my favorite teaching memories is when I got to teach medical students all about brain anatomy using real brain specimens. Interactive learning is fun!
